Philadelphia, PA) October 30, 2008 - "Anyone can create a green initiative, anytime, don't wait", is the message Arianne Delafosse has for people who want to get involved in greening up their homes, creating a community-based community green campaign, and not have to reinvent the wheel.
Women for Entrepreneurship, the Environment, and Social Equity is the theme of this most timely and relevant information-sharing and networking session that will be held on Sunday, November 16 from 3pm until 6pm at the offices of Greenable located at 126 Market Street. Donation to attend is only $15 for adults and $5 for children under 12 years of age. Advanced registration is required. Seating is limited. We Are BOOST Founder Tim Razzaq is absolutely thrilled to have his organization be able to invite the community at large out on an Sunday afternoon, provide a positive outlet for folks who may not be all that happy about what they have to face in the coming weeks with jobs and businesses at risk, and filter out so much of the 'green noise'.

Delafosse
is Founder and Executive Director for Community Green, an all volunteer non-profit organization based in Basking Ridge New Jersey and her message echoes that of Susie Beiler of Spectrum Health Consulting who "would like attendees to come away with inspiration to create community, an understanding of the importance of having vision, and a sense of their level of commitment to implementing their visions."
Donation is $15 per adult and $5 for children under 12 years of age. A refreshments buffet of locally grown and harvested food will be prepared by Cosmic Catering and available to all who attend. Essential Oils for your Cat's Cold

Recently a friend inquired about which oils might help to relieve her cat's cold. I looked it up in my Essential Oils Desk Reference and on the testimonial website. http://www.oil-testimonials.com/7468 I found out that a special blend called R.C., which stands for Respiratory Congestion, has been helpful in alleviating cold symptoms in cats! Put a drop on a bandana and tie it around your cat's neck or dilute a drop in vegetable oil and rub it on her paws. Cats are super sensitive to the oils, so a little goes a loooong way. Easy does it! R.C. contains essentials oils of eucalyptus, myrtle, pine, marjoram, lavender, picea mariana, and peppermint. Of course, please use it on yourself as well. It is very effective to diffuse this oil if you have any type of respiratory issue such as a cold or allergies.

Essential Oil of Rosemary

Recently I have fallen in love in Rosemary. It has a lot of uses. The Essential Oils Desk Reference provides the following information:
*Rosemary protects your liver. It is anti-tumoral, antifungal, antibacterial, and antiparasitic. Rosemary enhances mental clarity and concentration.
*You can use Rosemary to combat infectious disease and throat/lung infections. You can use it to restore hair growth and memory! Rosemary is great for weight loss and those with diabetes as it helps to regulate blood sugar levels.
*Its aromatherapy qualities help to overcome mental fatigue and improve clarity and focus. Inhale Rosemary to boost alertness, eases anxiety, and amplifies analytic and mental ability.

Suggested Application:
1) Dilute 1:1 with a carrier oil such as vegetable oil, olive oil, jojoba oil, etc. Apply directly to the skin on the "offending" area or on your chakras, or vitaflex points if you know them.
2) Inhale directly.
3) Diffuse in the air.
4) Take internally. Drop directly in your mouth or put a drop in an empty capsule.

Personally I like to put a drop in my water when I need a pick-me-up.

Essential Oils Introduction

Do you know about essential oils? They are the essence and lifeblood of a plant. They oxygenate our cells and help our bodies remove waste. They are highly cleansing and healing for our body. Get a free report from my website. http://susie.younglivingworld.com
You can diffuse them in the air, rub them on your feet, or take some of them internally. You can use them to make healthy cleaning products- Dilute with water and spray on the surface to be cleaned.
This is just scratching the surface. In future blogs I will highlight various essential oils and their uses. Enjoy!

Fear?

What are you scared of? I'm not talking about snakes or spiders. I'm asking, deep deep down, what truly frightens you?
Most people are scared of not having enough, driving them to compromise who they are do things they don't want to do like work in jobs they don't like to make money they are scared to spend. Some people are scared of success. They feel like they don't deserve to be successful or to enjoy their life.
Whatever it is that you fear, just allow yourself to get to know it. Sit with it. Breathe into it. In other words Face it! Rather than try to hide it or run from it, really just be ok with having your fear. You might just find you are still alive! You may even find yourself more motivated and determined to go after the things that you want and make your life happen!
Fear can paralyze or it be used as a tool to spur us on to fulfill our destinies. How are you letting fear affect your life? Go ahead, take a deeper look.
